Praise the Lord
Just like "joy" our "priase" "Joy" is turned
up to 10 on the 3:16 amplifier. That's because it is a true joy to priase
the Lord and that He also delights in our praise. . :-)
"Praise The Lord"
"Praise The Lord! Praise The Lord, O my soul! I will praise The
Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have being." (Psalm
146:1-2 RSV)
"Praise The Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for
He is gracious, and a song of praise is seemly. The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted, and binds
up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars, He gives to all
of them their names." (Psalm 147-1-4 RSV)
"Praise The Lord! Praise The Lord from the heavens, praise Him in
the heights! Praise Him, all His angels, praise Him, all His host! Praise
Him, sun and moon, praise Him, all you shining stars!" (Psalm 148:1-3
RSV)
"After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude
in heaven, crying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong
to our God, for His judgments are true and just; He has judged the great
harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and He has avenged
on her the blood of His servants." Once more they cried, "Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever." And the twenty-four
elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is
seated on the throne, saying, "Amen. Hallelujah!"
"And from the throne came a voice crying, "Praise our God, all
you His servants, you who fear Him, small and great." Then I heard
what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many
waters and like the sound of mighty thunderpeals, crying, "Hallelujah!
For The Lord our God the Almighty reigns." (Revelation 19:1-6 RSV)
